Author of the Series, Troll Tales and Other Stories from Grandma's Cottage

Nestled in the magical woods of Finland, on the edge of a large clear lake, a grandmother rocked back and forth in her antique rocking chair surrounded by her five clever grandchildren and told them stories about the fantastical trolls that lived nearby. Now, nine grandkids and five great-grandbabies later, her words have finally come back to life on the pages of her fun-filled tales of adventure, friendship, and just a touch of the magic that rests in the hearts of all children, young and old.

Betty enjoys traveling and has visited many places around the world. She especially loves the log cottage she bought in the remote woods of Finland, where she spent summers with her family and friends, telling fanciful stories of provincial trolls, shy moose, and impish fish. She lives half the year in Tucson, Arizona with her husband and little dog, Jessie, and during the hot summers they all flee to the woods of Northern Arizona.
